பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில்பிரவேசிப்பதற்காக தகுதிகள்இரண்டு

எபி-10-19,20 – ”ஆகையால் சகோதரரே, நாம் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பதற்கு, இயேசுவானவர் தமது மாம்சமாகிய திரையின் வழியாய் புதிதும் ஜீவனுமான மார்க்கத்தை நமக்கு உண்டு பண்ணின படியால், அந்த மார்க்கத்தின் வழியாய்ப் பிரவேசிப்பதற்கு அவருடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே நமக்குத் தைரியம் உண்டாயிருக்கிறபடியினாலும்”.

நாம்பரிசுத்தஸ்தலத்தில்பிரவேசிப்பதற்கு இயேசுவானவர்,

தமது மாம்சமாகிய திரையின்வழியாய்	புதிதும் ஜீவனுமான மார்க்கத்தை நமக்கு உண்டு பண்ணியிருக்கிறார்.
அந்த மார்க்கத்தின் வழியாய் பிரவேசிப்பதற்கு	இயேசுவுடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே நமக்குத் தைரியத்தை உண்டாக்கியிருக்கிறார்.

இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்கள், பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்படியாக, இயேசுகிறிஸ்து தமது மாம்சத்தை, ஒருமூடியிருக்கிற திரையைப் போலாக்கி, தமது மாம்சத்தை ஒரு வழியைப் போலாக்கி, அந்த திரையின் வழியாகப் பிரவேசித்து, பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் நுழையும் பாக்கியத்தை விசுவாசிகளுக்கு கிருபையாக தந்திருக்கிறார்.

இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மாம்சமான திரையின் வழியே நுழைகிறவர்களுக்கு, விசுவாசத்தை அளிக்கும்படியாக இரண்டு கிருபைகளை வைத்திருக்கிறார். முதலாவதாக புதியதானதும், இரண்டாவதாக ஜீவனைத் தருகிறதுமான ஒருமார்க்கத்தை உண்டு பண்ணி வைத்திருக்கிறார். (மார்க்கம்என்றால்வழி) எப்பொழுதும், ஒரு புதிய காரியத்தை செய்யும்போது, எல்லோருக்கும் ஒரு தயக்கம், தடுமாற்றம்உண்டாவது சகஜமான ஒன்று. அதுபோல, இந்த புதிதானதும், ஜீவனுமான மார்க்கத்திற்குள் எப்படி நுழைவது என்று தயங்குபவர்களுக்கு, இயேசுகிறிஸ்து, தமது இரத்தத்தினாலே உண்டாகிற தைரியத்தை கொடுக்கிறவராக புதிதும் ஜீவனுமான மார்க்கத்தை நமக்கு உண்டு பண்ணியிருக்கிறார். இயேசுவுடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே நமக்குத் தைரியத்தை உண்டாக்கியிருக்கிறார்.

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் காலத்திலே மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் பிரதானஆசாரியன் மாத்திரமே வருடத்திற்கு ஒருமுறை மிகுந்த பரிசுத்தத்தோடும், நடுக்கத்தோடும், ஆட்டுக்குட்டியின் இரத்தத்தை ஏந்திக் கொண்டு செல்ல முடிகிறதாக இருந்தது.

ஆனால் புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால விசுவாசிகளாகிய நமக்கோ, தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் நுழைய வேண்டுமானால், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மாம்சமும், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தமும், வழியாகவும், தைரியமாகவும் இருக்கிறது என்பதை இந்த வசனத்திலிருந்து நன்றாக விளங்கிக்கொள்ள முடிகிறது.

இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மாம்சத்திற்கும், இரத்தத்திற்கும் உரியவர்களாக நம்மை தெரிந்து கொண்டு தேவாதி தேவனுக்கு கோடான கோடி நன்றி செலுத்துவோம்.

அனுதினமும், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மாம்சத்தையும், இரத்தத்தையும், உரிமை பாராட்டி, தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் நுழையும் தகுதியையும், தைரியத்தையும்பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுவோம்.

அந்தத் தகுதியை இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் வருகை பரியந்தம் இழந்து விடாதிருப்போம்.

தேவன் விரும்பும் மாற்றங்கள்

தியானத்திற்கு நாம் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுகிற வேதவசனம் எரேமியா – 48 ம் அதிகாரம் 10-12 வசனங்கள்.

எரே-48-10 – ”கர்த்தருடைய வேலையை அசதியாய்ச் செய்கிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன். இரத்தம் சிந்தாதபடிக்கு தன் பட்டயததை அடக்கிக் கொள்ளுகிறவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன்”.

இரத்தம் சிந்தாதபடிக்கு தன் பட்டயத்தை அடக்கிக் கொள்ளுவது போல தேவவசனங்களை நன்கு அறிந்திருந்தும், அதை சுவிசேஷமாக அறிவியாமல், தன்னை அடக்கிக் கொள்ளுகிறவனும், தேவ ஊழியத்தை அசட்டையாய் செய்கிறவனும் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று இந்த வசனத்தில் வேதம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கிறது.

 இதைக் குறித்து, தேவன் மோவாப் ஜனங்களிடம் காணப்படுகிற காரியங்களை உவமானமாகக் கூறி நம்மை எச்சரிக்கிறார். கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பான சந்ததியாகிய மோவாபிடமே இந்தக் காரியங்களைக் கர்த்தர் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார் என்றால், நம்மிடம் இன்னும் எத்தனை அதிகமாக எதிர்பார்ப்பார் என்பதை நாம் சிந்தித்து செயல்படும்படி எரே-48-11 ம் வசனத்தை காண்பித்துக் கொடுக்கிறார்.

மோவாப் தன் சிறுவயது முதல் சுகமாய் வாழ்ந்தது.
அது ஒரு பாத்திரத்திலிருந்து மறு பாத்திரத்தில் வார்க்கப்படாமலும்,
அதின் வண்டல்களின் மேல் அசையாமலும் இருந்தது.
அது சிறையிறுப்புக்குப் போனதில்லை.
ஆதலால், அதின் ருசி அதில் நிலைத்திருந்தது.
அதின் வாசனை வேறுபடவில்லை.

      இங்கு மோவாப் என்ற இடத்தில் நம்முடைய பெயரை எழுதிக் கொள்ளலாம். தேவனை ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட தேவபிள்ளை, கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட பின், எப்படிப்பட்ட மாற்றங்களைக்கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை திடசாட்சியாக நமக்கு உணர்த்துகிறதாக இந்த வசனம் காணப்படுகிறது. நாம் இப்படிப்பட்ட மாற்றங்களுக்கு கடந்து வந்திருக்கிறோமா? என்பதை சிந்தித்துப் பார்ப்போம். இப்படிப்பட்ட மாற்றங்களுக்கு கடந்து வராமல் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்காகவும் ஜெபிக்க நாம் கடமைப் பட்டவர்களாக இருக்கிறோம். இந்த வசனத்தில் சொல்லப்பட்டுள்ள 6 காரியங்களையும் ஒவ்வொன்றாக தியானிப்போம்.

மோவாப் தன் சிறுவயது முதல் சுகமாய் வாழ்ந்தது என்று சொல்லப்பட்டுள்ளது போல, சுகமாய் வாழ்வதினால், கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற மாற்றங்கள் எங்களிடமும், எங்கள் பிள்ளைகளிடமும், காணப்படாமலிருக்கிறதை ஒப்புக் கொள்ளுகிறோம் ஆண்டவரே. எல்லாவற்றிலும் சுகமாய் தான் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், துன்பங்களை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளாமலிருந்ததையும் மன்னியும் ஆண்டவரே. கர்த்தருக்காக பாடுகளை அனுபவிக்கும் மனப்பக்குவம் எங்களிடம் காணப்பட ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறோம் ஆண்டவரே.கார்த்தாவே, நீர் எங்களை எப்படி நடத்த சித்தமாக இருக்கிறீரோ, அதற்கு இடங் கொடுத்து, துன்ப வேளைகளில், தேவரீர் இதிலிருந்து எங்களை தூக்கி எடுக்க வல்லமையுள்ளவராக இருக்கிறீர் என்ற விசுவாசத்தோடு, உம்மையே நாங்கள் சார்ந்து கொள்ளுகிறோம் ஆண்டவரே. தேவ செய்கை எங்களில் காணப்பட இடங் கொடுக்கிறோம். தேவரீர் எங்களுக்குள் மாற்றம் உண்டாகும்படி எங்களுக்கு கிருபையாயிருப்பீராக என்று ஜெபிக்கிறோம். நன்றி தேவனே.

2) அது ஒரு பாத்திரத்திலிருந்து மறு பாத்திரத்தில்வார்க்கப்படாமலும்:

   ஒவ்வொரு உயிரினத்திற்கும் ஒரு வளர்சிதை மாற்றம் உண்டாக வேண்டும். தேவன் படைத்த ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் ஒரு காலக்கெடு உள்ளது.

உதாரணமாக கழுகுகள் குறிப்பிட்ட வயதில் சிறகுகள் பாரமாக மாறிவிட்ட சூழ்நிலையில், தனித்திருந்து, தன் சிறகுகளை தானே பிய்த்துக் கொண்டு கன்மலையின் இடுக்குகளில் அன்ன ஆகாரமின்றி ஒளித்திருந்து காத்திருக்கும் போது, புதிய சிறகுகள் முளைத்தபின்பு, தான் இளமைக்கு திரும்பியது போல முன்பைக் காட்டிலும், தன் சிறகுகளை அடித்து உயர உயர எழும்பி காற்றை எதிர்த்துக் கொண்டு பறந்து செல்லும்.

 அதுபோல மனிதனுடைய உடம்பிலுள்ள பற்கள், முடிகள் போன்றவை குறிப்பிட்ட காலத்திற்குள் விழுந்து புதியவை முளைக்கும், மனிதனுடைய உடம்பிலுள்ள செல்கள் குறிப்பிட்ட காலத்திற்குள் செத்து புதிய செல்கள் உருவாகும். இவைகளெல்லாம் மனிதனுடைய நன்மைக்காக தேவன் அனுமதித்துள்ள வளர்சிதை மாற்றங்கள்.

 அதுபோல தான் இரட்சிப்படைந்த மனிதனுடைய உள்ளமும் செயல்பட வேண்டும். கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் பிறந்து விட்டால் பழையன கழிந்து புதியன புகுதல் என்ற கோட்பாடு உண்டாக வேண்டும். பழைய பாரம்பரிய பாத்திரத்திலேயே இருந்தால் கிறிஸ்துவின் சிந்தையை நிறைவேற்ற முடியாது.

 புது ரசத்தை புது துருத்தியில் வார்த்து வைத்தால் தான் துருத்தியும் ரசமும் பாதுகாப்பாக இருக்கும். புதிய ரசத்தைப் போன்ற புதிய அபிஷேகததை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு சேமித்து வைக்கக்கூடிய புதிய பாத்திரமாகிய புது சிருஷ்டியாக மாற வேண்டும். நாம் கர்த்தருக்காக பயன்பட வேண்டுமானால் பழைய பாத்திரத்திலிருந்து புது பாத்திரத்திற்கு மாற்றப்பட வேண்டியது அவசியமாகும்.இதுவரை புதிய பாத்திரத்தில் மறுபாத்திரத்தில் எந்தளவு ஊற்றப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். சிந்தித்துப் பார்ப்போம். வருகையில் காணப்படுமளவு வார்க்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறோமா? அல்லது புத்தியில்லா கன்னிகைகளைப் போல வருகைக்கு ஆயத்தமாக தான் இருக்கிறோம் என்று மனப்பால் குடித்துக் கொண்டு, முழு ஆயத்தத்தோடிராமல், அரைகுறையாக வார்க்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறோமா? வருகையில் கைவிடப்படும் நிலையில் இருக்கிறோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

தேவனே இரட்சிக்கப்படும் முன்பு, சாவுக்குப் பாத்திரராக இருந்த எங்களை, சத்துருவால் பட்சிக்கப்பட்டு சகலவித துர்குணங்களாலும் நிறைந்தவர்களாக, கர்த்தர் விரும்பாத வெறும் பாத்திரமாகக் காணப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்த எங்களை, வெறியினாலும், சஞ்சலத்தினாலும் நிறைந்த பாழ்க்கடிப்பின் பாத்திரமாக விளங்கிய எங்களை, பாவஞ்செய்து, அநியாயஞ்செய்து, மரணத்தின் கட்டுகளால் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ள பாத்திரமாயிருந்த எங்களை, தேடி வந்து இரட்சித்து, அபிஷேகித்து, உம்முடைய பிள்ளையாக ஏற்றுக் கொண்டீரே! உம்முடைய கிருபைக்கு நன்றி ஐயா!. அநேக சத்தியங்களை அறிந்திருந்தும், நாங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற பாத்திரமாக, மறு பாத்திரத்தில் வார்க்கப்படும்படி எங்களை முழுமையாக விட்டுக் கொடுக்காதிருந்த எங்களுடைய பாவங்களை மன்னியும்ஆண்டவரே.

  தேவனே! எங்களை உம்முடைய பாதத்தில் சமர்ப்பிக்கிறோம். எங்களுக்குள் பெரிய மாற்றத்தை உண்டுபண்ணும். இனி நாங்கள், கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை அறிவிக்கிற பாத்திரமாக உண்மையாக நடந்து கொள்ள ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறோம். கர்த்தருடைய பாத்திரத்தில் பானம் பண்ணும்போது அபாத்திரமாய் பானம் பண்ணாமல், உடைந்த உள்ளத்தோடும் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தலோடும் ஜாக்கிரதையாக பானம் பண்ணும்படி எங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறோம். நாங்கள் தேவனுடைய நற்கிரியைகளுக்கு ஆயத்தமாக்கப்பட்ட கனத்திற்குரிய பாத்திரங்களாகவும், தேவனுக்கும் ஜனங்களுக்கும் முன்பாக சாட்சியுள்ள பாத்திரமாகவும் மாறும்படி எங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறோம். எங்களுக்குள் மாற்றங்களை உண்டு பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறோம்.

3) அதின் வண்டல்களின் மேல் அசையாமலும் இருந்தது:

   வண்டல்கள், சேற்றுக் குவியல்கள் என்றால் பாவத்தையும், அக்கிரமத்தையும் குறிக்கிறதாக இருக்கிறது. இரட்சிக்கப்பட்ட பின்பு நாளுக்கு நாள் கிறிஸ்துவை தரித்துக் கொள்ளாமல், பழைய சேற்றுக் குவியல்களின் மேலேயே அசையாமல் அனலுமின்றி, குளிருமின்றி இருந்தால், கர்த்தர் நம்மை வாந்திப் பண்ணிப் போடுவார் என்று வேதம் எச்சரிக்கிறது.
  தேவபிள்ளைகள் சேற்றுக்குவியலைப் போன்ற பாவ அக்கிரமங்களின் மேலும், பாரம்பரிய சாபங்களின் மேலும், உட்கார்ந்திருக்கும் போது, தேவனைப் பற்றிய அறிவை அடையாமல், தேவனுடைய அசைவாடுதல் இல்லாமல், எவ்வித உணர்வுமின்றி சாவுக்கேதுவான பாத்திரமாக அப்படியே இருப்பார்கள்.ஆனால் தேவனுடைய சத்தியத்தை கேட்பதற்கும், அவருக்கு கீழ்படியும்படிக்கும் ஒப்புக் கொடுக்கும்படி தன்னுடைய மனதை திருப்புகிறவர்களிடையே, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் அசைவாடி, அவர்களுக்கு பாவ உணர்வை தந்து பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தி, வாஞ்சையோடு கேட்கிறவர்களை தமது அபிஷேகத்தினால் நிறைந்து, அவர்களுடைய பாரம்பரிய கட்டுகளிலிருந்து விடுதலை தந்து, புதிய சிருஷ்டியாக மாற்றுவார்.அறியாமையினால், சாத்தானின் அசைவுகளினால் முழ்கிப் போக நேரிட்டாலும், தாகத்தோடு தேவனை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கும்போது, ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகத்தினால் மூழ்கிடாமல் மேலெழும்பி தன்னை காத்துக் கொள்ளும்படியான கிருபையை தந்தருளுவார்.அசையாமல் வண்டல்களின் மேலிருக்கிற அனுபவம் இன்னும் நம்மிடம் காணப்படுகிறதா? எந்தெந்த எல்லைகளில் எல்லாம் வண்டல்கள் இன்னும் காணப் படுகிறது சிந்திப்போம். வண்டல்களிலிருந்து விடுபட்டு வெளியேற முயற்சிப்போம். கிறிஸ்துவினால் நான் அசைக்கப் படாதிருப்பேன் என்ற அனுபவம் தேவ பிள்ளைகளுக்கு வேண்டுமேயொழிய, வண்டல்களின் மேல் அசையாமலிருப்பேன் என்ற அனுபவத்தில் நிலைத்திருப்பவர்கள் மனந்திரும்ப வேண்டும்.

ஜெபம்:-

கர்த்தாவே உமக்குப் பிரியமில்லாத வண்டல்கள் எங்கள் எல்லைகளில் காணப்படக்கூடாது ஆண்டவரே. அக்கிரமத்தின் வண்டல்கள், மேட்டிமையின் வண்டல்கள், கீழ்ப்படியாமையின் வண்டல்கள், முறுமுறுப்பின் வண்டல்கள், போன்றவைகள் எங்களது எல்லைகளில் காணப்படக் கூடாது என்று ஜெபிக்கிறோம் ஆண்டவரே.எம்மை வண்டல்களாக, கீழே இழுத்து, கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக எழும்பக் கூடாதபடிக்கு அமுக்கி மூழ்கி விடக்கூடிய வல்லமை நிறைந்த துர்சுபாவங்கள் எங்களை விட்டு ஒழிக்கப்பட வேண்டுமே தேவனே!. தெளிந்த நீரோடைப் போன்ற ஆவியானவரின் அசைவாடுதல் எங்கள் மேலும், எங்கள் குடும்பங்கள் மேலும், எங்கள் எல்லைகளிலும் காணப்பட வேண்டும் என்று ஜெபிக்கிறோம்.

வண்டல்களை விட்டெழும்பி, ஆவியானவருக்கு இடங்கொடுத்து, படிப்படியாக கணுக்காலளவு அபிஷேகம், முழங்காலளவு அபிஷேகம், இடுப்பளவு அபிஷேகம், மற்றும் நீச்சல் ஆழத்திற்கு இழுத்துச் செல்லப்பட நாங்கள் விரும்புகிறோம் ஆண்டவரே. எங்களுக்குள் மாற்றங்களை உண்டு பண்ணும். மாற்றங்களை உண்டு பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறோம்.

4) அது சிறையிறுப்புக்குப் போனதில்லை:

 சிறையிறுப்பு என்றால் அது நோயாகவோ, கடன் பிரச்சனையாகவோ, அடிமை வாழ்வாகவோ, பில்லி சூனியக்கட்டுகளோ, சாத்தானின் பிரச்சனைகளோ, பஞ்சமோ, பாழ்க்கடிப்போ இப்படி நாம் சமாதானமாக வாழாமல் இருக்கிறதைக் குறிக்கும்.

 சிறையிறுப்பு என்று சொன்னாலே தேவபிள்ளைகளாகிய நாம் ஐயோ! எனக்கு வேண்டாம் ஆண்டவரே என்று தான் சொல்லுவோம். எப்பொழுதும் சுகமாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று தான் விரும்புவோம். ஆனால் ஒரு தேவபிள்ளை பக்குவப்பட வேண்டுமானால் சிறையிறுப்பு என்பது மிகவும் அவசியமாகிறது.

சிறையிறுப்பின் போது தான், கர்த்தர் எவ்வளவு நல்லவர் என்பதை ருசித்துப் பார்க்க முடிகிறது.

சிறையிறுப்பின் போது தான், மனிதர்களின் உதவி விருதா என்றும், தேவனுடைய ஒத்தாசை மாத்திரமே நம்மை நிரந்தரமாக விடுவிக்கக் கூடும் என்பதும் நிச்சயமாக உணர்த்தப் படுகிறது.

சிறையிறுப்பின் போது தான், கடந்த காலத்தைத் திரும்பிப் பார்த்து, பாவங்கள் உணர்த்தப்பட்டு, அதிலிருந்து நிரந்தரமாக மீண்டு வர வேண்டும் என்ற உணர்வு ஏற்படுகிறது.

 யோனா மீன் வயிற்றில் மூன்று நாட்கள் சிறையிருந்த போது தான் தன் தவறைஉணர்ந்து பாவ அறிக்கையிட்டு தேவபணியை நிறைவேற்றும்படி தன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தான்.

யூதர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக செயல்பட்ட சவுல் மூன்று நாட்கள் பார்வையின்றி சிறையிறுப்புக்குள் இருந்த போது தான், தன் தவறுகளை உணர்ந்து, தன்னை நிதானித்தறிந்து, கர்த்தரை சொந்த இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுக் கொண்டான். பார்வை கிடைத்தவுடனே சடுதியில் எழும்பி, கர்த்தரே தேவனென்று அறிவித்து தேவனுடைய ரகசியங்களை பிரசங்கிக்கும்படி செயல்பட்டான்.

யோசேப்பும், தாவீதும் தேவனால் அபிஷேகிக்கப் பட்டிருந்தாலும், தன் சகோதரர்களால் பகைக்கப்பட்டு, தங்களது 17வது வயதிலிருந்து 30வது வயதுவரை பலதரப்பட்ட சிறையிறுப்புகளோடே கடந்து சென்றதால் தான் தேவனால் உயர்த்தப் பட்டார்கள்.

ஜெபம்-

தேவனே உம்முடைய சிறையிறுப்புக்கு இடங்கொடுக்காமல், அவைகளைப் பாரமாக எண்ணி உம்மை குறைகூறியிருக்கிற பாவங்களை மன்னித்தருளும் ஆண்டவரே.

சிறையிறுப்புகள் எங்களை உயர்த்த தேவரீர் பயன்படுத்தும் படிக்கட்டுகளாக இருக்கிறது என்பதை உணர்ந்து கொண்டோம் ஆண்டவரே. தேவனே உம்மை அண்டிக் கொண்டு, உம்மால் உயர்த்தப்பட இடங்கொடுக்கிறோம். எங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்.

சிறையிறுப்பைக் கண்டு அஞ்சாமல், சிறையிறுப்பு எம்மை இன்னும் உம்மிடம் கிட்டிச் சேர்க்க உதவும் ஆவிக்குரிய ஆயுதம் என்பதை உணர்ந்து, அதில் பக்குவப்பட எங்களை ஒப்புக் கொடுக்கிறோம். பக்குவப்படுத்தும் தேவனே. நன்றி ஐயா!.

5) ஆதலால் அதின் ருசி அதில் நிலைத்திருந்தது:

  ஒரு விதை விதைக்கப்பட்டு, முளைத்து, கனி கொடுக்கும் பொழுது, விதையின் தன்மையோடு தான் இருக்கும். அதின் ருசி மாறுபட வழியில்லை. அதுபோல, ஒரு தாய்

தந்தை எப்படியோ, பிள்ளையும் அப்படியே அவர்களுடைய ருசியோடு, அவர்களுடைய குணங்களோடு தான் இருப்பார்கள்.

  உலகத்தின் பார்வையில் குழந்தை வேறுபட்டு பிறந்தால் குடும்பத்தில் சந்தேகம் தான் ஏற்படும். ஆனால் ஆவிக்குரிய பார்வையில் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அவர்களுடைய பழைய ருசியிலேயே நிலைத்திருக்கக் கூடாது. மறுபடியும் பிறந்தவர்கள் தங்களுடைய எல்லாவற்றிலேயும் வேறுபடாதிருந்தால், எதற்காக இரட்சிக்கப் பட்டார்களோ அதனுடைய பலனை அடைய முடியாது. அவர்களுடைய ருசி கிறிஸ்துவுக்கேற்ற பிரகாரமாக மாற்றப்பட வேண்டும். அப்பொழுது தான் தேவன் ருசிக்கும் விதமாக கனி கொடுக்க முடியும்.

  ஒரு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்ட தேவபிள்ளை, இரட்சிக்கப்பட்ட பின்பும், முன்பு அவர்களிடம் காணப்பட்ட பழைய ருசியாகிய கசப்பும், புளிப்பும், துவர்ப்புமாக அருவருக்கப் படத்தக்கதுமான ருசிகளாகிய துர்குணங்களில் நிலைத்திருந்தால், கர்த்தர் எதிர்பார்க்கிறகனியை கொடுக்க முடியாது. கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற கனிகளை கொடுக்க வேண்டுமானால், பழைய ருசிகளை உதறித்தள்ளி, உயர்குல திராட்ச செடியாகிய கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நிலைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

ஜெபம்-

  எங்களிடம் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு பல வருடங்கள் ஆன போதிலும் இன்னும் பழைய ருசிகள் பல காணப்படுகிறது என்பதை உணருகிறோம் ஆண்டவரே. பல மாறாத ருசிகளில் இன்னும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறோம். செய்யக்கூடாது, நினைக்கக் கூடாது, விட்டு விட்டோம் என்று தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக வாயினாலே அறிக்கை செய்திருந்தும், அவைகளை முற்றிலுமாக வேரோடு பிடுங்காமல் இருக்கிறோம் என்பதை உணருகிறோம் ஆண்டவரே.

  இப்பொழுதும், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் ரத்தத்தினால் ஒருவிசை எங்கள் உள்ளும் புறமும் கழுவப்பட்டு, பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தப்பட எங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறோம். கர்த்தருக்காக கனி கொடுக்க இயலாதவைகளில் நாங்கள் நிலைத்திராமல், கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமானவைகளில் நிலைத்திருக்கும்படி எங்களை உம்மிடம் முழு மனதோடு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறோம். ஆவியானவர் எங்களை நடத்துவீராக.

6) அதின் வாசனை வேறுபடவில்லை:

ஒரு தேவபிள்ளை கிறிஸ்துவின் வாசனையை வீசுபவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டுமேயொழிய, பாவ வாசனை அடிக்கிறவர்களாக இருக்கக் கூடாது. நம்மிடம் இன்னும் என்னென்ன வாசனைகள் வேறுபடாமல் இருக்கிறது. முன்பு கிழவிப்பேச்சும், கெட்டபேச்சும், வம்பும், குறைகூறுதலும், முறுமுறுக்குதலுமான துர்குணங்களின் வாசனை வீசியிருக்கலாம்.

  “இவர்கள் இப்படித்தான். இவர்கள் மாறவே மாட்டார்கள். இவர்களைப் பற்றி நமக்குத் தெரியாதா? இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு என்ன பிரயோஜனம்?” என்று நம்முடைய பழைய வாசனைகளை நினைவுகூர்ந்து, “இவர்கள் இப்படித்தான்“ என்று மீண்டும் மீண்டும் முத்திரை குத்தும்படியான வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

  ஆனால், சிலகாலமாக இவர்களிடம் மாற்றம் காணப்படுகிறதே, எப்படி இவ்வாறு மாறினார்கள். இவர்களிடம் காணப்பட்ட பழைய சுபாவம் முற்றிலுமாக மாற்றப் பட்டுள்ளதை காணமுடிகிறதே. எவ்வளவு கடினமாக இருந்தவர்கள், இப்பொழுது எப்படி அன்புள்ளவர்களாக, மென்மையானவர்களாக, பொறுமையுள்ளவர்களாக மாறி விட்டார்கள். என்னால் என் கண்களையே நம்ப முடியவில்லையே என்று ஒவ்வொரு தேவபிள்ளையும் நற்சாட்சி பெற வேண்டும்.

  தேவன் நம்மை கடந்து செல்லும்போது, இன்னும் சினிமா சீரியல் தொலைக்காட்சி இவைகளின் வாசனை வீசிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறதா? விபச்சார வேசித்தனத்தின் வாசனை வேறுபடவில்லையா? பீடி சிகரெட் கஞ்சா போதை குடி பழக்கங்களின்வாசனையிலிருந்து விடுபடவில்லையா? இவ்விதமான அசுத்தமானவாசனைகளிலிருந்து விடுபட, வேறுபட, பிரித்தெடுக்கப்பட முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும். துர் வாசனைகளிலிருந்து பிரித்தெடுக்கப்பட வேண்டியவர்களுக்காகவும் ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும்.

  பிலேயாம் அநீதத்தின் கூலிக்கான வாசனையினின்று விடுபடாததால் தான் கர்த்தருடைய தீர்க்கதரிசியாக இருந்தாலும், கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைப் பேசினாலும், மறைமுகமாக தந்திரமான காரியங்களை புறஜாதி ராஜாவுக்கு சொல்லிக் கொடுத்தான். அநீதத்தின் வாசனை வேறுபடாதிருந்ததால் தன் ஜீவனையும் இழந்தான்.லோத்தின் மனைவி சோதோம் கொமொரா பட்டணம் அழிக்கப்படும் முன்பு தேவ தூதர்களால் தயவாகவும், அற்புதமாகவும் மீட்கப்பட்டிருந்தாலும், அவள் தன்னிடம் காணப்பட்ட பொருளாசையென்னும் விக்கிரகாராதனையின் வாசனையினின்று விடுபடாமல் இருந்ததால் தான், திரும்பிப் பார்க்கக் கூடாதென்ற தேவ எச்சரிப்பையும் மீறி திரும்பிப் பார்த்து உப்புத் தூணாகினாள்.

  லோத்தின் மகள்கள் சோதோம் கொமொராவில் காணப்பட்ட விபச்சாரவேசித்தனத்தின் வாசனையிலிருந்து மீட்கப்படாதிருந்ததால் தான், தன் சொந்த தகப்பனிடமே பிள்ளையைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்டு கர்த்தருக்கு பிரியமில்லாத மோவாப் மற்றும் அம்மோன் சந்ததியை பெற்றெடுத்தார்கள்.இப்படிப்பட்ட விடுபட முடியாத வாசனை நம்மிடம் காணப்படுகிறதா? பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுபட்டு விட்டோம் என்று நினைத்திருந்தாலும், அதின் வாசனையினின்று விடுபடாமல் இருக்கிறோமா? சிந்திப்போம். தேசத்தில் அப்படிப் பட்டவர்களுக்காக ஜெபிப்போம்.

ஜெபம்-

 தேவனே இரட்சிக்கப்படும் முன்பாக கெட்டுப் போகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளே மரணத்திற்கேதுவான மரண வாசனை வீசிக் கொண்டிருந்த எங்களை இரட்சித்து, இரட்சிக்கப் படுபவர்களுக்குள்ளே ஜீவனுக்கேதுவான ஜீவவாசனை வீசும்படியாக மாற்றியிருக்கிறீர் என்பதை விசுவாசிக்கிறோம் ஆண்டவரே.

 எங்கள் எல்லைகளில் ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேக வாசனை வீச வேண்டும் அப்பா. துதியின் சுகந்த வாசனை வெளிப்பட வேண்டும் ஆண்டவரே. ஜெப தூபங்கள் ஏறெடுக்கப்படுகிற வாசனை இடைவிடாமல் எழும்ப வேண்டும் தேவனே. பரிந்து பேசி ஜெபிக்கிற சத்தம் கண்ணீரோடு கூட தேவ சந்நிதியை பலவந்தம் பண்ணுகிற வாசனையாக ஏறெடுக்கப் பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்று வாஞ்சிக்கிறோம் ஆண்டவரே.

 தேவனே கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் எங்களுக்கும் உகந்த வாசனையாக இருக்கட்டுமப்பா. எல்லாவற்றிலும், எந்த இடத்திலும் வெற்றி சிறக்கப் பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனை எங்களிலிருந்து வீசட்டும் ஆண்டவரே. ஒரு காய்ந்துபோன மரக்கட்டை தண்ணீரின் வாசனையினால் துளிர்க்கிறது போல, கர்த்தரை அறிகிறஅறிவின் வாசனையினால் எங்களை செழிக்கப் பண்ணி சகலவித அருமையானஆவிக்குரிய கனிகளின் வாசனையை வீசப்பண்ணி, கர்த்தர் நுகருகிற சுகந்த வாசனை வீசுபவர்களாக மாற்றுகிற கர்த்தருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறோம்.

கவிழ்த்துப் போட்டு, வெறுமையாக்கி, உடைத்துப் போடாமலிருக்க ஜெபிப்போம்.

  எரே48-12 – ”ஆகையால் இதோ, நாட்கள் வருமென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். அப்பொழுது, கவிழ்த்துப் போடுகிறவர்களை அதற்கு அனுப்புவேன். அவர்கள் அதைக் கவிழ்த்து, அதின் பாத்திரங்களை வெறுமையாக்கி, அதின் ஜாடிகளை உடைத்துப் போடுவார்கள்.”.மேலே சொல்லப்பட்டுள்ள ஆறு மாற்றங்கள் நம்மிடையே காணப்படாத போது,

கர்த்தர் கவிழ்த்துப் போடுகிறவர்களை நம்மிடையே அனுப்பி, நம்முடைய பாத்திரங்களை வெறுமையாக்கி, ஜாடிகளை மீண்டும் பயன்படுத்தாதபடிக்கு உடைத்துப் போடுவேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்.

வெறுமனே கவிழ்த்தால், மீண்டும் எழும்பலாம் என்ற நம்பிக்கை இருக்கலாம். ஆனால், உடைத்துப் போட்டால், எழும்ப கூடும் என்பது கேள்விக் குறியாக இருக்கிறது. இப்படிப்பட்ட சூழ்நிலை ஒரு தேவபிள்ளைக்கு ஏற்படக்கூடாது என்று ஜெபிப்போம்.

  ஆண்டவரே எங்களுக்குள் மாற்றம் உண்டாக இடங்கொடாமல், தேவகோபத்திற்கு வழிதிறந்து, கவிழ்க்கப்பட்டு, வெறுமையாக்கப்பட்டு, உடைக்கப்படுவதிலிருந்து தப்புவிக்கப்பட எங்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறோம். ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் தேவனே. எங்கேயும் எப்பொழுதும் உம்முடைய நாமம் மாத்திரமே மகிமைப்படட்டும். ஆமென்!.

Be careful! Be watchful!!

We are living in the last days. The Lord Jesus’ coming is so near. All the things spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ as the signs of the end times are taking place all around us. What are we as God’s children do and get ready to meet Him.
“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of God.” Luke 21:34, 36
‘But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short’ Revelation 12:12
The devil as the roaring lion looking for someone to devour all the time and so be self controlled and alert. I Peter 5:8 How are we today in our spiritual life?
The schemes of the devil:

1. Advanced technology: The modern technology has brought evil into our hearts and homes. Let us be very careful about it. How much time do we spend with our i-phone, i-pad, FB and on and on? When a small click noise comes from our phone, with how much eagerness, we see what message and from whom. Let us ponder today, how much time we spend with our Lord we really want to have close relationship with Him. Are we listening to His still small voice and obeying Him? Paul says in I Corinthians 6:12 “Everything is permissible for me- but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me- but I will not be mastered by anything.”
2. Weakness in our body: Sometimes satan brings discouragement and depression so that we just dwell on it and go away from the Lord’s presence. Any bad report from the doctor and ailment in our body should not discourage us. We read about Paul that he had a thorn in his flesh and he asked the Lord to remove it thrice but the Lord said so clearly that His grace is sufficient for him. Paul lived all his life with it and received God’s grace. Paul said, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
3. Division in our fellowship: Our fellowship of believers should be strong. In these days satan wants to bring division among believers and fellowships. In the early church all the believers were one in heart and mind. Acts 4:32 How is our fellowship?

How to overcome the schemes of the devil:
Paul wrote to the Church of Ephesus during his imprisonment, he clearly advices them to be alert to stand against the schemes of the devil. “Finally be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the whole armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’ schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes you may be able to stand.’ Ephesians 6:11-13 We have to take up the SHIELD  of FAITH in our left hand and the SWORD of the Spirit which is the WORD OF GOD in our right hand.

I FAITH – Our Shield:
Do we have faith to stand in the battle. ‘…for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world even our faith.’ I John 5:4  Jesus said, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” Luke 17:5 ‘Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.’ Hebrews 11:1  Faith is Forsaking All, I Trust Him.’
We have battles to fight and mountains to cross in our Christian lives. Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 “Have faith in God.” Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.’ Mark 11:22, 23

Three types of faith to overcome the mountains:

1. Resisting faith: In Luke 8:22-25, Jesus calms the storm by rebuking the winds and waves. Jesus asked the disciples, “Where is your faith?”  The Lord has given the same authority to us as His children. Are we using our faith to resist our problems, struggles, sickness…. so on?
2. Enduring faith: Paul on his way to Rome under went so many struggles in Acts 27.Before very long, a wind of hurricane force swept down from the Island. The ship was caught by the storm. They took such a violent battering from the storm began to throw the cargo over board. The third day they threw the ship’s tackle overboard. The storm continued raging, lost all hope of being saved. Some who could swim jumped overboard first and got to land. The rest were to get there on planks or pieces of the ship. In this way every one reached land in safety. Thus they were able to get into an Island, Malta for healing ministry. Paul had an enduring faith.
3. Hidden faith: In the life of David most of his life his faith was hidden. He was running for his life as Saul was trying to kill him, his hidden faith strengthened him. ‘Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings.’ Psalm 57:1

To grow in faith we need combined effort among the believers. We have to stand together. Paul says in Romans 1:11, 12, ‘I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong- that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.’

II    WORD OF GOD – Our shield
In Greek the Word is Rhema which means the spoken Word. God’s word is so powerful and mighty. He created the whole world by His word. He healed the sick and comforted the people by His word. ‘For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.’ Hebrews 4:12

• Love His word: In Psalms David says that he loved the Word. ‘I love you law.’ Psalm 119:113 ‘I stand awe of your laws.’ 119:120
• Give first place to His word: Early in the morning seek His face and you will find Him.
•  Memorize the word: Only then our hearts will be filled with His word. We can protect our hearts from sin and worldly lusts.

In Revelation 2 and 3 the Lord has promised so many blessings for the over comers. He wants to make us one. By submitting ourselves to Him and holding the shield of Faith in our left hand and the Word of God in our right hand, we can become the over comers.

God’s Love and Christ’s Perseverance (Patience)

‘May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.’2 Thessalonians 3:5

     When Paul writes to Thessalonians they were in a confusing situation as we are today. Paul’s desire was that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly, and be honored. They may be delivered from wicked and evil men. The Lord is faithful and he will strengthen and protect them from the evil one. He commands the people that God will lead them to the love of God and to Christ’s patience.

    God's love is called Agape love which cannot be described. Definition 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 – ‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.’ It is unconditional and sacrificial love.
Unconditional love is expressed in His creation of mankind, protection and sustaining and His saving grace. It is also unfailing love. Sacrificial love is completed in giving for us His own Son Jesus Christ. “For God so LOVED the world he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

   Jeremiah 13:17 and 14:17 “But if you do not listen, I will weep in secret because of your pride, my eyes will weep bitterly, overflowing with tears…” He even cries because of our pride. What should we do to show our love in return? Levi 19:18, 34 “Love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.”

Deuteronomy 30:20 “Love the Lord your God, listen to his voice.
Malachi 1:6, 8 Give your best to God. Fear his name with love.

Jesus’ patience:

Definition: Submission, Meekness, Waiting patiently for His father’s time, Calmness in suffering, Contentment etc. The three years Jesus spent on this earth in all aspects of His life, He showed patience.

1.  It is exhibited in his childhood Luke 2:42 - 52
2.  In the Public ministry
3. Patience with his disciples
4. Forty days in the wilderness and during the temptations 
5. At the end in the garden of Gethsemane, during His final trials and while hanging on the cross. He endured the cross.

     ‘Who, being the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a SERVANT, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death- even death on a cross! Philippians 2:6-8
‘He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so did not open his mouth.’ Isaiah 53:7
‘He committed no sin and no deceit was found in his mouth. When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.’
I Peter 2:22-24
‘To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow IN HIS STEPS.’ I Peter 2:21

    Dear Lord, please help us to love you more. Fill us with your love and patience so that we can live like your children in this world, in Jesus’ name. AMEN

Study about the Virtuous Women in Proverbs 31:10-31

       A wife of noble character who can find?  She is worth far more than rubies. (Proverbs 31:10)
In many Bible translations, it is given as noble, virtuous & capable, excellent, worthy, valiant are used for the description of this women.

This woman is beautiful both inward and outward. She is like a rare gemstone which is more precious.
In Proverbs 19:14, it says, ‘A prudent wife is from the Lord.’  A prudent wife is from God so to find such a woman you have to seek God. She is godly and she is precious.

She earns her husband’s confidence by doing good and not to harm him. So he lacks nothing. She does this all through her life. This earns her the confidence of her husband.

She selects wool, flax and works with eager hands. She gets wool and makes winter clothes. Flax is a fiber crop and also used in food. She makes use of everything in flax. She makes linens out of flax. She works with an eager hand and not with a dull hand.

She is compared to the merchant ships which bring only fine food. Yes she establishes her trade and brings home only the best things for her households.
When you read psalm 107:23-32, it says about the merchants who set for sail in the sea. Their ship was tossed by the roaring waters. They cried for help to the Lord in their trouble, He stilled the storm and made the sea calm. They were led to their destination safely.

This woman knows whom to approach and put her trust. She puts her trust in the Lord and remains calm for His answers. She knows very well in her heart that Lord will help her to safety.

Her wonderful quality is getting early in the morning preparing food for the family and also feeding her servants.
In psalm 107:37,it says, ‘They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest.’ She sets to work vigorously and her arms are strong for her tasks so she buys a field with her earnings, she plants a vineyard. God blesses her, her vineyard yielded a fruitful harvest. She gathers her fruitful harvest as she worked vigorously in her field and accomplishes her tasks. She sows good deeds to reap a fruitful harvest.
She makes profit out of her trade. Her lamp does not go at night. Proverbs 6:23 says, ‘The commands are a lamp.’ She always keeps God’s command as her lamp.

In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. She does not waste her time in gossiping or day dreaming. She works whenever she can. She also knows the Lord who trains her hand that holds distaff for war and her fingers that grasps spindle for battle (Psalm 144:1). She believes the Lord as her Rock.

She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. Her arms are always open feeding the poor. Her hands always reach out for the people in need. She not alone cares for her family but also as God commanded for the poor and needy. What a wonderful woman! She makes her covering for her bed and also all the winter clothing; this shows her she is good in needle work. She helps her family to dress appropriately for the seasons and the places.

As she takes care of the family well, her husband is able to do his work with ease. So he is respected among the elders. Today women ask lots of questions about their husbands’ work and annoy them a lot. She never interferes in his business and thus helps him to achieve his goal.

She is a great business woman who makes garment and sells them. She sells the sashes to the merchants. She is not alone clothed with the finest linen but also with strength and dignity. Many women lose their strength when they face problems or lose their dignity when they face the toughest situation. This woman who is like a merchant ship knows how to react to the problems and keep herself clothed with strength and dignity. She knows that the joy of the Lord is her strength and not to grieve (Nehemiah 8:10). So she is happy and full of joy all her days.

She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue. In James chapter 3 it is told that the tongue is a fire and also an evil one. Tongue cannot be tamed. In Proverbs 14: 1, it says,” The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down”. This woman knows about the power of the tongue and she wants to build, create or give life and not to destroy. She knows that the soothing tongue is a tree of life (Proverbs 15:4) and a gentle tongue can break a bone (Proverbs 25:15). In Proverbs 18:21, ‘The tongue has the power of life and death.’ So she opens her mouth only to build, inspire and encourage others but not to condemn. She is not idle but works to eat her food and take care of her households.
Her Children call her ‘blessed’ and her husband praises her. He finds her to be the noblest woman among all the noble women.

‘Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise.’

Blood Covenant

What do we mean by a Blood Covenant? A covenant sealed by Blood.

         Luke 22: 19, 20 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Blood :– Without blood human and animals would have no way to circulate the necessary oxygen. Blood is needed for survival. Hemoglobin found in the red blood cells carries oxygen to the brain, which in turn uses that oxygen to allow it to control the entire body. Blood makes all of the functions in the body possible. God gave very specific laws in the Old Testament about the blood. Blood is the agent that gives life to the flesh and it's considered sacred and precious by the Lord. In the Old Testament God established a very specific law concerning the blood. No one could eat blood or they should be cut off from fellowship. Leviticus 17:10 "If any one of the house of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people. V. 11 for the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement.

Covenant :– is an agreement between two or more parties. Whenever God deals with people He loves and makes a covenant. This is something that He arranges. Jesus initiated the new covenant when he initiated the last supper. This was an everlasting covenant. Why did He say new covenant? If the first covenant was faultless, there is no need of a second one. But there was a need for a new covenant. Hebrews 8: 7, 8 what was the old covenant? Hebrews 13:20

Covenant Broken:- There was a covenant made between God and Adam where Adam would have everlasting life based upon obedience to God. Gen 2:16, 17.  This covenant was broken and so it was not everlasting.  The Lord god commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” If he would have kept it there would be life everlasting, but if not the penalty was death. The condition was perfect obedience. This covenant was broken and it ended the relationship. Also, in Hebrews 8:9, 10 our fore-fathers did not continue in the covenant and God disregarded them.

God also made covenant with several people in the Bible, who kept their covenant

1.  Noah - This covenant was God’s promise to Noah to never again destroy the world with a flood. After Noah and his family came out of the ark, God promised Noah that He will not destroy the world again. Genesis 9: 9, 11, 13. He put a rainbow in the sky and this was a sign of the covenant that God.
2.  Abraham - God promised a land and descendants to Abraham, who was commanded to "keep" the covenant (Gen 17:9, 14) and was given circumcision as the sign (Gen 15:8-18; 17:1-14). On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates" (Gen 15: 18). God promised a land and descendants to Abraham, and was commanded to "keep" the covenant. Gen 17: 1-4. After this, Gen 17: 10, 11 God tells Him about circumcision and this would be the sign of the covenant. Abraham preserved the covenant and passed this to his generations.
3.  Moses - God wanted the Israelites to be Holy before Him and was given conditions to fellowship with God. Exodus 24: 6-8. 6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he sprinkled on the altar.  7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people.  They responded, ‘We will do everything the LORD has said; we will obey.’  8 Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, ‘This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words’".

We see that in the Old Testament, selected people were chosen by God, to represent Him to the world. But in the New Testament, the covenant people are those who choose God, and we are called to represent Christ to a world that does not know Him.
The Lord’s Supper is a sign of God’s new covenant.  As we read in 1 Corinthians 11:23-30, we are to take part in the Holy sacraments in remembrance of Him. Also, in Ephesians 2:13, 14 we read “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.    Verse 14, For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.
God deals with you and me this day still by covenant. If we have surrendered and accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, you have made this covenant. By His grace, we have this covenant whereby Christ purchased us, and secondly, through the covenant we have given ourselves to Him.   We need to remember that Christ purchased us with His precious blood through the covenant we made years ago. Rev 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of-their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”. If we regard His precious blood as unholy, our soul will be lost eternally (Hebrews 10: 26-29).

To ponder: Are we standing steadfast in the covenant we have made to the Lord? Have we completely have crucified our sinful nature on the cross to have this everlasting relationship? Many times, we have broken the covenant like Adam did. We have strayed in our ways, like the Israelites.  Let us confess of our shortcomings and renew the covenant that Jesus has made for us.

Prayer :– Thank you for the new covenant that was given by your Son Jesus. Help us to always be true to the covenant. Help us not to break the covenant on any account.  Forgive our shortcomings, cleanse and make us whole.

The Presence of God

The Lord Jesus said, “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of ages.” Matthew 28:20
God has said: “I will never leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
The Lord has promised to be with us all the time. Do we feel His presence with us always? In Exodus chapter 33 Moses was pleading with the Lord for His presence to go before him. He did not want to go anywhere, where he won’t feel God’s presence. God said to Moses, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Moses was a man of God who felt the presence of God all the time.
‘Enoch walked with God.’ Genesis 5:25 Enoch walked with God 300 years and had sons and daughters. He had a family; still his walk with the Lord is a close one.
The Lord’s presence is always with us. He lives in us. Let us ponder today how much do we feel his presence in our daily life? If His presence is taken away from us we will be crushed. Each one has a different path but the Lord leads and guides us.
These are the blessings we get, when the Lord’s presence is within us:

1. JOY: ‘…you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.’ Psalm 16:11 there will be a great difference between the people who have the presence of God and those who do not have. We see in the life of the Israelites, God made a difference between His people, the Israelites and the Egyptians.  There is joy and eternal pleasure in His presence.
2. PEACE:  “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives; Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 When He is with us, we will have peace, long lasting peace. It does not depend up on our circumstances and trials. Nobody can take the peace, the Lord gives from us.
3. REST: Quietness, Calmness   “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 after a very tired day, when we go to His presence, He gives us rest.
4. HEALING: We have healing in His presence. In all the four Gospels, we read that where ever Jesus went, He healed all the sick. ‘When Jesus saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.’ ‘People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.’ Matthew 14:14, 35, 36 God heals our body, soul, mind, feelings and emotions. He is our greatest healer.
5. PERFECTS EVERY THING: Where ever there is a shortage or emptiness, he fills it with His power. In John Chapter 2 we see the Lord Jesus at the wedding at Cana, turning the water into wine and made them all rejoice by his presence. David says in Psalm 138:8 “The Lord will fulfill this purpose, for me.”Sometimes we do not feel His presence.  There are certain things that separate us from God.  Let us ponder, search our hearts and make us right with Him.

• SIN:  The Lord needs holiness in us. ‘Your iniquities have separated you from your God.’ Isaiah 59:2 David is pleading to the Lord to cleanse him from the sin that he had committed and also for God’s presence in Psalm 51:2, 7, 10. “Wash me, cleanse me, and create in me a pure heart.” “Do not cast me from your presence.” Psalm 51:11
• FEAR: Sometimes worries, fear separate us from God. The Lord has asked us to cast all our anxiety on Him for He cares for us. I Peter 5:7 The Word FEAR NOT’ appears in the Bible 365 times. He has promised to be with us. Let us take courage and come to him.
• UNFORGIVENESS: We must always have the spirit of forgiveness in us. We have to reconcile and restore our relationship within us and with others by forgiving one another. The Lord Jesus Christ lived and showed a life of love and forgiveness, so that we can follow in His steps.’Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.’ Ephesians 4:32

Read Psalm 139. He knows all about us. We cannot run from His presence. His eyes have seen our unformed body in our mother’s womb. V.16 He is like a shade, all the time with us. A close relationship with the Lord is very important.  Seeking the Lord early in the morning is very important. Feel His presence, thinking of his greatness and love, thank and worship Him from your heart, tell Him that you love Him. He loves the fellowship of us rather than the angels. He loves us too much. Throughout the day, think and talk to him all the time. He will change all circumstances and all relationships to our favor and glorifies His name in the end. God bless!

House sparrow

House sparrow’s scientific name is Passer domesticus. The name itself explains that this bird is a friendly bird. March 20th bird? This sparrow decreased in numbers in alarming rate (81%) which worried scientists and others a lot. So through sparrow day they are talking about the measurements to increase the number of these birds. Scientist feared if this bird decreased in number it will increases hunger, starvation followed by death. We are wondered how this small bird influenced like that. This is called as micro environmental changes.

We will see the reasons for the decline in number:

1.Pollution

2.Decrease in agricultural lands

3. Cell phone towers and their signals

4. More usage of pesticides, fertilizers, plastics, chemicals etc.

Importance of these birds

1. Agents of dispersal i.e. helping seeds to grow in different lands

2. Bioindicators for pesticides, pollution, climatic change i.e. wherever these things are in abundant, the birds won’t survive there.

For example the China's first Communist leader Mao Zedong in 1958 ordered to kill sparrows because he believed that each bird ate nearly 4.5 Kg of grain/year. But nearly after 2 years, rather than an increase, the yield was decreased. About 20 million people died because of starvation, misuse of fertilizers and pesticides which spoiled the farm land permanently.

Biological control i.e. without much usage of pesticides and fertilizers sparrows increased the yield of the grain by eating the worms and other bugs.

Characteristics of house sparrows:

1. Living in a group, abundant and are everywhere except green land-. Togetherness and unity

2. Close to human habitats – Relationship with God and one another

3. Females chose the partner based upon his strength by dominating through fighting with other males, exposing their talents by singing, weaving the nests.

4. Male and female take care of the young ones together -As Christian both parents have responsibility to teach their kids the spiritual and moral values when they are young.

5. They are monogamous i.e. loyal to one partner. If one loses the partner, it cries alone.

 In Old Testament the sparrows name was mentioned nearly 40 times. In Mathew and Mark gospels, Jesus Christ mentioned about these birds. In Jesus times the birds were abundant in Palestine and west Sea of Galilee. Jesus explained His principles with easy examples for everyone to understand.

 During Moses time when one cannot afford ox, goat or doves he can offer these sparrows for their sin as well as skin cleaning offering Levi 14:4

 In Mathew 10:29 Jesus mentioned that two sparrows are sold for one Penny, yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. You (we) are worth more than many sparrows. Matthew 10:31 Do not be afraid about anything because the Heavenly father takes care of us.

 Mathew 6:26 Jesus said, “Look at the birds of the air, they do not reap nor sow or store in barns but your heavenly father feeds them. You are more valuable than they. So do not worry about tomorrow.”

 Psalm 84:3 ‘Even a sparrow has found a home, where she may have her young- a place near your altar. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.’ Like that we should also be very close to God and build our life on him.

 Psalm 102: 7 the writer says, “I lie awake; I have become like a bird alone on a roof. If a bird loses its partner, it cries all alone. Sometimes no one can understand our grief except our Lord who is a consoler for our grieving heart. ‘Surely He carried our sorrows.’ Isaiah 53:5

As this sparrows decline in number Christian population is also going down

In the State of Tamil Nadu the Christian population is just 6% except K.K dist. which had nearly 44 %.

The reasons;

1. As God’s Children, what part are we playing in the Society? Can others see Jesus in our life and relationships? What is our thought on caste as well as social status? Genetic test like mitochondrial DNA tests (passing from mother to offspring’s and stored information) confirmed earlier showed that Dravidian civilization did not have any caste system. They are easily mingling with inflowing people from different parts of India. It seems Dravidian females always had their independence in choosing their life partner based upon bravery or strength tests. So we had a very strong genetic pool with intelligent and healthy population. Are we willing to accept others (believers) as one in Christ?

2. We have plenty of churches. Instead of bringing people from outside the fold to the living Savior, we are simply blaming traditional churches or finding fault with each other. But we forget to teach, it is not churches we are responsible for, it is our relationship with God because our bodies are the temple of the Holy spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19.

3. Teaching different doctrines away from Christ also confuses people. God’s love on Calvary and His Resurrection from death has to be shared with people around us. What a Savior we serve!

4. We criticized openly about our people and their activities. We have a very good role model our savior Jesus Christ. Even though Jesus knew that Peter who is going to deny Him at the end, Judas, who is going to betray Him with a kiss, He never criticized them for what they are going to do. He loved them till the end. Jesus has set an example for us to follow. ‘To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in His steps.’ 1 Peter 2:21

  Sparrows are declined in number because of man made things. Like them we Christians also declining in number because of our own principles, ignorance and bad attitudes. We are called to be light and salt to this world. Let us show the world we are different by our actions, so others can see JESUS in us.

Mother’s day Special

We have much privilege to be mothers and women. The Lord has also said in the Bible,” As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you”.  Isaiah 66:13 The Bible has expressed about many women in Proverbs like kindhearted woman, adulterous woman, beautiful woman without discretion, excellent wife, folly woman, quarrelsome and fretful woman, wise woman etc. The verses from Ecclesiastes 7: 28,29 say, “while I was still searching but not finding—found one upright man among a thousand, but not one upright woman among them all. This only have I found: God created mankind upright, but they have gone in search of many schemes.” What a sad ratio, could not find even one woman among thousand!
Let’s analyze our life now today with some of the women’s weak points from the Bible..

1. The lust of the eyes:
     God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat only the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil when they eat from it they will certainly die. But the serpent said to the woman that they will not certainly die instead they will be like God, knowing good and evil. Finally Eve saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. (Genesis 3:6)
Are we yielding our way to God’s word or still pleasing of the world? I John 2:15, 16

2. Blaming without self-realization:
     Sarai herself urged her husband Abram to take her slave Hagar in order to build a family through her. But when Hagar despised her, Sarai was saying to Abram, “You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my slave in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the Lord judge between you and me.” Genesis 16:5
Are we blaming our mistakes on husbands / others without self-realizing ourselves?

3. Despising in our highness:
     Sarai gave her slave Hagar to Abram to build a family through her. But when Hagar was pregnant, she began to despise her mistress Sarai.'...but in humility consider others better than yourselves.' Philippians 2:3
Do we forget the benefits received from any person (friends, family members, etc.)? Are we showing our faithfulness? Have we despised anybody keeping us in a higher level?

4. Taking advantage over other’s ignorance/weakness:
     Isaac and Rebecca married and lived together. Isaac wanted to bless Esau. Rebecca wanted B
blessings for her younger son, Jacob. She did not approach her husband directly to solve her wish instead she disguised Jacob as Esau in order to steal the blessings as Isaac was old having no vision in his eyes.
Let us submit ourselves truthfully to our husbands even in their times of fret and discouragement. Encourage, pray and be close and show God's love to them. Also Let us not misuse other’s ignorance.'Bear with each other...' Colossians 3:13

5.Source of grief:
     Esau’s wife Judith and Basemath  were a source of grief to their in-laws Isaac and Rebekah.
How do our life impact our family/others? Is it a source of grief and sorrows or joyfulness and comfort? '...forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.' Colossians 3:13

6. Unwillingness to give up the old carnal desires.
     Jacob had desire to obey the Lord’s word. But Rachel took some of the her father's household gods while she left her father’s place. As she had desire on those gods, she hid them under her camel’s saddle and insisted to tell a lie to her father.
Are we serving our Lord whole heartedly otherwise we might get into any tricks that lead us to sin?

7. Improper way of communication :
     Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses for he had married a Cushite. “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this (Numbers 12:1,2) and the result  Miriam became  leprous,like snow.
It is better is to express our point directly without deviation rather than trying to describe it in a round about way.It leads to communication gap and sin.
Also we have to be very cautious to point others mistake especially on God’s children.

8. Nagging:
     Samson loved Delilah. But Delilah accepted to help the rulers of Philistines to betray Samson's secret of his strength, for money. Judges 16:6 ‘ With such nagging she prodded him day after day until he was sick to death of it. So he told everything’
Also in 1 Samuel , Penninah,Hannah’s rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her.
Let us bring peace in our family life/other’s life instead of nagging and irritating others  in word and deed.

9. Teasing with despise:
     Michal, wife of King David saw him leaping and dancing before the Lord, and she despised him in her heart. Also she teased him by saying, “How the king of Israel honored himself today, uncovering himself today before the eyes of his servants' female servants, as one of the vulgar fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” She was not able to accept his humble celebration before the Lord.
Are we worshipping the Lord with humbleness?
Have we  teased or made fun of the way other’s worship on any day?

10. Bad intermediator:
     In 1 Kings 21, Naboth did not give King his vineyard which was the inheritance of his father's which was near to the palace even when the King was ready to pay money. On seeing Ahab’s worries, Jezebel his wife wrote letters in Ahab's name and sealed it with his seal , “Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth at the head of the people. And set two worthless men bring a charge against him, saying, ‘You have cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.” Thus killed an innocent man to please her husband.Let our actions be pure and true. Let us guard our tongue not to express any unwanted negative information about any person.'Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up...' Ephesians 4:29

11. Discouragement:
     Job’s wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.”
She did not support him in his faith instead hurt with her words.
Let us be supportive and encouraging  to our partners/ those in need so that they can stand firm upon God with out fear. 'Encourage one another and build each other up.' 1 Thes 5:11

12. Destructive counsel:
     Haman  had riches, sons, promotions honored by the king. Even then He was worrying about Mordecai who did not tremble with him. While He shared these with his friends and his wife Zeresh, they gave destructive idea of hanging Mordecai on a gallows. It so happened that Haman was hanged in the same gallows which was made for his enemy. 
Many of us are also worrying about what we do not have rather than thanking God for His goodness.
Are we giving constructive counsel to others with prayer?
'Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.'
1 Thessalonians 5:15  'Live in peace with each other.' 1 Thessalonians 5:13           
             
     In order to prevent us from these weak points, we have to allow  Jesus Christ to enter into our hearts who will lead, guide and help us to live a life for the glory of the Lord through the Holy Spirit.Let us hide His Word in our hearts so that we can live for Him.
'I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.' Psalm 119:11

I AM WHO I AM

The Lord wants us to encourage us today with His name ‘I AM WHO I AM’. The Israelites were oppressed by the Egyptians for about 400 years. So the Lord wanted to send Moses to rescue the Israelites and lead them to Canaan. When the Lord was talking to Moses from the burning bush, Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and if they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

 Some of the representations of
‘I AM’ from the Bible I AM’ --- The present tense. This always shows His presence.
'I AM’ --- The Living God. ‘ I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever!’ Revelation 1:18
‘I AM’ ---The Almighty God. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8
‘I AM’ --- The Everlasting God. ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.’ Revelation 22:13 I AM’ --- The Truthful and Eternal God. ‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.”’ John 14:6
‘I AM’ ---The Holy God. “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16
‘I AM’ --- The Never Changing God. ‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.’ Hebrews 13:8 `

The Character of our Lord who promises us ‘I AM WHO I AM’

        Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.” Exodus 34:6 

Some examples from the Bible to whom the Lord encouraged with the word ‘I AM’

   The word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” Genesis 15:1

 The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham..” Genesis 26:2,3 

 Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Harran. When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the Lord and said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth... All people on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:10-15.

The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered. Genesis 39:2 ·

Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.” ·

 The Lord spoke to Joshua,” Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you…” ·

 David had success in all his undertakings, for the Lord was with him. 1 Samuel 18:14 ·

 In Isaiah 41:10, ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’ 

We are able to understand through these examples about the power of His name, “I AM”. His presence with us will bring glory to the Lord and He will bless us. We may suffer in physical body, financial problem, family issues and anxiety about our future, job, children.. Remember ‘small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life’ ‘In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.‘ The Lord who says, “I AM “ is our light and makes us shine in all our ways. Our Lord is still great and mighty; full of compassion, slow to anger, faithful, merciful and gracious. He will not change. Surely He will bless us according to his promises and reveal His glory through us.

 Let us just trust our Lord; sit at His presence and listen to His voice and obey as in Joshua 1:5-8, ‘.. I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. ..Only be strong and very courageous..This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.’ And the Lord will be pleased with us.

May our Lord encourage, comfort and bless us with his word!

Risky Love

It’s easiest to love people who are like you? Those who have similar beliefs, standards, interests and talents. There’s nothing wrong with loving your friends. But that’s the easy love.
How do you relate to those who are different from you?  It is hard to love people who are really different from you. In fact, it may be nearly impossible without God loving through you. He is willing to do that because He commands you to love others …especially those who are different.

“This is My command: Love each other.” John 15:17
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Romans 12: 9- 10

       'Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures for ever.' Psalm 136:1

   I praise the Lord for His love and grace towards me from birth till today. As I entered the 6th of June, this year, I could not sleep through out the night. I was counting all the blessings of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who enabled me to finish my 45th year of marriage and enabled me to enter into a New year.I praised God for giving me a God fearing husband who supported me all these years. He blessed me with two children and four grand children. There were ups and downs in life but my Lord is so faithful and led me thus far.  All praise and glory to His name alone.
Today I can tell boldly to all the Christian women that if your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is intimate and true,  He will help you to be true and loyal in your relationships with your husband, in-laws, children, grand children, colleagues, friends and neighbors.

My prayer for this New year is:
'Make me more like thee, Jesus
Make me more like thee
Give me a heart that is filled with love
And make me more like thee.'
