Submission to the Lord's will - 4th day in the lent

We have been noticing  in the Bible that some persons have accomplished the Lord's will and some have lived against the Lord's will in their life. We can clearly understand the submission of Jesus Christ to the Father's will in every walk of His life.

Mathew 7:21
'Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.'

The submission of Jesus Christ to the Father's will:

When we reach the lowest position and possession from a high status, we will worry and feel hard to adjust to our situation. But Our King and Our  Creator came down to the Earth in the human form because of His love for us.
  •  Jesus Christ was born to Mary and Joseph in a manger. This shows Christ's humbleness to fulfill the Father's will.
  • During the Childhood, Jesus was listening and asking questions to the teachers in the temple at his 12 years old. His parents were searching and found him. But He replied   “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn't you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” But they did not understand what he was saying to them. Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them to fulfill the Father's will. Luke 2:48-51.
  • During the ministry, Jesus taught His disciples how to pray in that he mentioned..Mathew 6:10 ‘your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.' Thus He has taught us to pray according to the Lord's will.
  • Many places Jesus mentioned,’ I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. So I know that His command leads to eternal life.
  • 'Even though Jesus knew the very thoughts of the people mind,he answered them patiently and had not taken revenge Himself but replied according to the Lord's will.
  • He knelt down and prayed in anguish at the Mount of Olives, 'Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.’ Luke 22:42.
  •  During the crucifixion , the soldiers slapped, spit in Jesus face and struck Him with their fists. Even then Our King accepted  submitting to the Lord's will.
  • After 3 days ,Jesus was resurrected in  order to redeem us according to the Lord's will.
Submitting ourselves to the Lord's will:
  • Let us submit ourselves to the Lord's will wholeheartedly.
  • Let us submit ourselves to do his will every day.
  • Let us pray that everything we prayed to be happened according to the Lords will.
  • Let us be humble, patient and obedient to do His will in our life.
Prayer:
Dear Father,We thank you for showing us how to submit to your will. Help us to be submissive and  living according to your will  wholeheartedly until our last breath . Amen
